Recently Enrico was getting his hair cut and chatting away to his barber about travel.  She said “I have a question for you that I have always wanted to ask a travel agent.” The question was no surprise. “What are your service fees?”   So I considered an analogy to help you understand how a travel advisor works. 


I thought of cars or insurance but feel the unquestionable comparison is real estate.  When you are ready to purchase a home you contact your trusted real estate professional and you are not thinking about any fees associated with the purchase. You realize that the commission fees are paid for by the seller of the home or we might say the vendor.
