Planning a Family Reunion

So you have just been elected by your family to plan the next reunion because "you are just so organized".  Now you don't know where to start and you are terrified that Aunt Martha will suggest "why dear, you could just have it at your house." 

Many people plan a city or resort location for the family to travel to but issues can arise from the beginning.  What city is the most convenient for all the family to meet at?  The middle of nowhere might not be ideal for a family reunion. Okay then maybe somewhere warm?  What about Orlando? Good choice you are thinking. 

So now you are an hour from the closest Casino so cousin Betty will be leaving the reunion daily to set her butt at the slot machine.  You think planning a day at the water park will be great for the kids but will the idea make Great Grandma get her bikini on?  Uncle Bob needs handicap accessible travel so will the hotel offer what he needs to participate?  Sister in law Jill is a real pain to plan for because she must work out like a fanatic every morning and go to the spa to be pampered. Your Mom really wants to just relax in a corner with a good book and your Dad, being an old army guy, wants to get out and visit all the historical tourist attractions.  By now you are thinking you just want to find a bar stool!
